  14. Can anyone tell me what i can use/or do to stay connected while I
  15. writing  a posting to my ISP as I write my postings online using GRN
  16. 2.1a if I take too long it will eventulay times out and
  17. disconnects due to enactivity.

  19. my setup is PPP (1.40) Amitcp demo 4.0 A1200 4Mb and supra modem

  21. I sometimes use ping from another shell, but there must be a parameter
  22. mabye in GRN or PPP to send some kind of bounce signal to the host to
  23. make sure the connection is held up.
